2015 Rolls Royce Ghost Series II

Deep in the Texas hill country sat four of the finest vehicles made…..the new 2015 Rolls Royce
Ghost Series II.

Here we were, just average journalist from all areas of Texas waiting like kids in a candy store to have our turn in the Ghost Series II sedan.

Crafted in Goodwood, England, the Ghost Series II sedan was first introduced in 2009. How do you tamper with such perfection? You do it the way Rolls Royce has always done it; without compromise. In the words of Sir Henry Royce, “Strive for perfection in everything you do. Take the best that exists and make it better; when it does not exist, design it.”

Well that sums it up nicely!

The 2015 Ghost Series II yields a subtle update from the current model. The powerful 6.6-liter,
twin turbo charged V12 remains the same. It produces 563 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque and it continues to be the exclusive engine of choice.

I have never been so careful driving a car as I was driving with that kind of power on a rainy day in San Antonio. You will notice the throttle immediately, in fact, it is hard to ignore; and though powerful, its shift is flawless. Virtually silent already, the Ghost is tranquil and vibration free.

Whether you are the driver or the passenger, Rolls Royce makes every effort, and a successful one I might add, to connect you to their motorcar.

As a passenger, the carpet is plush, the wood is rich, and the leather is pampering. Of course, you can customize the Ghost to your liking…..Add precious jewels, metals, or wood cut from a tree on your own estate. Rolls Royce will build it to your liking and you will be utterly satisfied. The interior of the Ghost is just as appealing as the exterior.

The visible exterior changes include what is referred to as a ‘wake channel’ on the hood. This
sleek line along the hood gives the Ghost Series II the look of flowing water behind a boat. The
slightly altered headlights consist of LEDs and take on a svelte shape.

Technology has also advanced in the Ghost Series II, the Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller enables you
to scroll through a menu of functions on the vehicle. The iconic symbol lays underneath a layer
of crystal and works as a touch pad too, giving you the capability to transcribe characters in English,
Arabic or even Mandarin. China and the Middle East are both ambitious markets for Rolls Royce.

Today, Rolls Royce Ghost Series II motorcars are designed by their owners. The portrait of the
owner is evolving as well, partly in thanks to the dashing (in looks and speed) Wraith. Past
purchasers were true rock stars, royalty or heirs but today’s clientele is typically younger and in
the business of making money while making memories.

To own a Rolls Royce is to own your very own handcrafted piece of artwork. Polished, refined and graceful, the Ghost Series II will be your investment for years to come.
